New way of quarrelling online from a distance between Russia and U.S
It dates back to March 5 for Russia and U.S to begin using new media to quarrel with each other. The U.S Department of State website published an article, which pointed out "ten fallacies” of Russian president Vladimir Putin in an earlier press conference.
Vladimir Putin first responded to the recent changes in Ukraine in the press conference on March 4. Putin pointed out that the Russian armed forces in Crimea were there just to protect Russian military assets. It was not Russian troops that occupied Crimea infrastructures or military factory, but the "civil defense group”. However, the U.S in the article indicated that there were strong evidences that members of Russian armed forces were the core of highly organized anti-Ukraine forces.
Putin said that the opposition didn’t comply with the agreement with Yanukovich on February 21. However the U.S claims that Yanukovich not only refused to comply with the agreement, but left behind lots of evidence of corruption and fled from Kiev. Putin does not accept the legitimacy of the Ukraine interim government and still takes Yanukovich as Ukraine’s legitimate president. In the article U.S said people should recognize the new government with more than 82% of Ukrainians and it is looking forward to the election on May 25th.
Then the Russian embassy posted comments of Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich on weibo on March 9. He criticized the article at US Department of State website twisted the situation and the double standards implemented by the U.S. The posts below are the comments of Lukashevich on this issue.

"The U.S State Department ignored the evidences of large number of nationalists acting absurdly, including revenge on opponents in front of television cameras or sending snipers to kill the common people, attempting to cover up the Ukraine incident by shameless one-sided interpretation. Washington of course will not admit that they themselves incited the opposition to overthrow the government and cleared the way for the illegitimate government in Kiev.”

" We disdain to argue with low-grade propaganda. US government can’t resign itself to the fact that the US can’t dictate its will wherever it wants and act as "an infallible judge" who has the right of the last word," "They are unable to overcome their emotions and deal with the fact that they cannot dictate their will, anywhere and at any time, [that they cannot] take up their favorite role as a global judge who always has the last word,” he said. "The US does not and will never have the moral authority to teach others about international norms and respect to other countries’ sovereignty. What about the [1999 NATO] bombings of former Yugoslavia and the [2003] invasion of Iraq on false pretenses?” the spokesman continued. "Under the guise of protecting its citizens, who found themselves in a zone of a conflict, the US invaded Lebanon in 1958, the Dominican Republic in 1986, attacked tiny Grenada in 1983, bombed Libya in 1986 and occupied Panama three years later. At the same time, they dare to accuse Russia of ‘military aggression’ when it tries to protect its compatriots who make up the majority of the Crimean population,” Lukashevich said. "It’s evident that Washington officials are still unable to adequately perceive the events that fail to develop under their scenario.”
